Meet the Phenol55 Team

We’re passionate about wine, through and through. We’re here to help you enjoy your wine collection to its fullest. We’d love to hear from you!

  • Owner / CEO

I am a 3rd generation Seattle native. Through the years I became interested in wine, starting to collect on my first wine trip to Napa in 2005. Since then my husband and I, with our two children, have visited wine regions in Spain, Italy, and France. A few years ago, we bought a small vineyard in Walla Walla that is managed by Ken Hart, who manages larger vineyards in the area and his own label Tulpen Cellars. We currently sell our Syrah grapes from two different clones, Joseph Phelps and Tablas Creek to local wineries, Alton and Deuce Cellars most recently.

I started my career working in Finance for 10+ years. I worked at aQuantive, including when Microsoft acquired us. A few years ago, I started my own financial modeling consulting firm, working mainly with glassybaby for 2 years. And now, I couldn’t be more excited to keep growing Phenol55 and making it a place for all to enjoy.

We are excited to learn your stories and journey with wine, and how we can help make your experience at Phenol55 truly exceptional.

  • Wine Specialist

Hailing from Texas originally, I am a recent transplant to Washington. After some time in California, it was a spur of the moment decision that I moved to Seattle late last year and I have been loving my time here so far.

Before joining Phenol55, I had a variety of work experiences. From retail to metal engraving, line cook, executive assistant, and even operations manager of a laboratory, I have taken on many different roles and worn many hats. Stumbling upon Phenol55 was a happy accident that introduced me to the exciting world of wine. When not at the cellar, I spend my time writing, reading, at the cinema, or hiking.

As a Washington native & denizen of the wine/beverage industry for a decade now, I feel sure I'm a proprietary blend of 45% rainfall & 55% mixed varietals. When I'm not talking about wine I'm usually concerned with obscure films or lesser known books. I have one cat, named Picpoul.

My career in the beverage industry began in Michigan, where I managed the taproom of a craft microbrewery. After moving to Seattle in 2020, I spent two years working regionally with a mobile canning and bottling company. It was during my time packaging that my interest in wines took off, which led me here to Phenol55. Beyond my professional interests, I am enthusiastic about my artistic hobbies. From print-making to ceramics to figure sketching and more, I am an avid creator and enjoyer of visual arts.
